Geauga Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) is an integrated positive youth development program that teaches skills youth need for healthy relationships and positive decision making. Classroom programs take place in grades 5-10, in addition to parent education programs, teen parent services, and school support initiatives.
Youth Led Prevention (YLP) is an evidence based leadership program for middle and high school students that provides students the opportunity to affect change in their schools and communities on issues they see as important. The ultimate goals being to both promote healthy lifestyles, and empower youth to be active citizens.
Digital World is the most recent addition to prevention services. This program focuses on the potential impact of 24/7 exposure to social media, the Internet and digital communication across all age groups. Classroom presentations for students, parent and community programs, opinion surveys, and community involvement opportunities provide a multi-level approach to digital awareness.
